Welcoming Messages
Dear friends, dear colleagues,
We are excited to announce the Anatomic Pathology and Histo-Cytotechniques Conference (APHCC 2025), taking place as a hybrid event on April 27th-28th, 2025, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
This conference is the 2nd international conference of both the Saudi Society of Anatomical Pathology and the Saudi Society of Cytotechnology and Histotechnology. This partnership, driven by remarkable members and volunteers, marks an important milestone, with many more to come.
The APHCC will spotlight the advances and updates in Anatomical Pathology, Cytopathology, Digital Pathology and AI, Molecular Pathology and Histo-Cytotechniques. These areas are critical to the advancement of our filed and to the provision of high quality patient care.
We hope that you will find the conference to be informative and engaging. We encourage you to participate in the sessions and to network with your colleagues.
We would like to thank the organizing committee, scientific committee for their hard work in putting together this great program. We would also like to thank our sponsors for their support.
We look forward to a productive and enjoyable conference!
Dear Pathologists and Technologists,
It is with great honor that I welcome you to APHCC 2025, a platform where the latest updates and advancements in our beloved fields come to life, and where you can connect and collaborate with peers who share your passion and dedication.
I vividly recall the first memorandum of understanding signed between the Saudi Society of Cytotechnology and Histotechnology and the Saudi Society of Anatomical Pathology. That historic moment paved the way for remarkable achievements, starting with our first collaborative event, APHCC 2024. Following this, we jointly established the Anatomic Pathology and Histo-Cytotechniques Virtual Academy (APHC VA), an initiative that has redefined how we approach education in our fields.
One of our proudest milestones is the development of our virtual slide platform, which is now being utilized in the Gynecologic Cytopathology Screening Program and will continue to serve as a cornerstone for future virtual educational activities. This innovative platform allows users to seamlessly view, annotate, and share virtual slides, marking a significant leap forward in our educational and diagnostic capabilities.
While this is a welcoming message, I felt it essential to highlight these milestones as a testament to the strength and dedication of our societies. Your societies have been working tirelessly to exceed expectations, striving to bring the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the forefront of anatomic pathology and histo-cytotechnology practices.
I extend my deepest gratitude to the countless volunteers who have devoted their time and effort, working tirelessly to transform ambitious goals into tangible realities. Your contributions are the foundation of our success and the driving force behind the progress we celebrate today.
As we gather at APHCC 2025, I encourage you to fully engage with the exceptional program we have prepared, which features cutting-edge research, thought-provoking discussions, and unparalleled opportunities for networking and collaboration. Together, let us continue to push the boundaries of innovation and excellence in our fields.
I look forward to meeting you all and sharing in the enriching experiences that APHCC 2025 has to offer. May this event inspire us all to achieve even greater milestones in the future.
